Andy Flower is enjoying his role in Pakistan Super League

The former Zimbabwean captain Andy Flower, who was coach of England's National team in the past, is enjoying the role of being Peshawar Zalmi's assistant coach in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he can develop different type of relationship with the players.

Flower's younger brother Grant Flower is the batting coach of the Pakistan national side so there is a connection. Peshawar's captain Shahid Afridi had played against Andy many times so he said that it is helping when you have played against a member and know him.

The Zimbabwean had success as the coach of England team but some poor performances including the Ashes loss in 2013/2014 had resulted in him losing the job. But he said that this job is very nice because there is less responsibility being the assistant of Muhammad Akram.

Former Pakistani bowler Akram has worked with national team as bowling coach. They also have Abdul Rehman as the manager, who is coach of the Peshawar team in the domestic competition so that is also beneficial for Flower but he is having good experience.

Flower also said that the atmosphere of the dressing room is also very good. Peshawar player, Darren Sammy, the West Indian Cricketer is also satisfied with the coach and said that Flower has a good cricket brain and he had helped England reach the top of rankings which shows his class.
