Islamabad looked in good position as they were 55/1 but then they lost next 4 wickets for just 13 runs. Apart from Watson none of their other batsmen scored more than 20 and new entrant Grant Elliott caused problem for batsmen by picking up 3 wickets in his spell.
Quetta also faced some problems early as their opener Luke Wright was dismissed in the third over and Kevin Pietersen was dismissed for a golden duck. Ahmed Shehzad scored 41 and had 59 runs partnership with Sarfraz, who remained not out on 51. Muhammad Nawaz scored 14 and took Pakistan over the line.
