Gemini Arabians register fourth consecutive in a close encounter

The Gemini Arabians have earned their fourth victory in the Masters Champions League (MCL) as they defeated Sagittarius Strikers by 12 runs after Virendar Sehwag scored century, the highest score of the tournament so far 134 runs off 63 balls with 11 sixes and 10 fours.

There is no team which has come so close to Gemini so far as there batsman have been in supreme form. The South African opener Richard Levi did not play for them today and he was replaced by another South African left-handed batsman Jacques Rudolph.

Rudolps also accompanied Sehwag well as he scored 27 runs off 19 balls but the show was stolen was Sehwag who scored most of the runs in their 45 balls 86 runs partnership. The second partnership was even more destructive for Sagittarius Strikers as Sangakkara arrived.

Sehwag and Sangakkara had 135 runs partnership off just 67 balls as Sangakkara scored 51 runs off just 33 balls. But then Krishmar Santonkie's show started who took 4 wickets off 4 balls. He took 5 wickets in total but still Gemini managed to score 224/7 in 50 overs.

In reply Captain Adam Gilchrist got out for 0 and Mahela Jayawardene could score just 20. Imran Farhat and Yasir Hameed tried their best and scored 51 and 41 respectively. Another Pakistani Yasir Arafat played a cameo of 32 runs but they could score only 212/9 in 20 overs.
