The left-arm bowler of the Bangladesh Cricket Team Mustafizur Rehman will not be available for Lahore Qalandar team in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) due to the shoulder injury as he had also missed few games against Zimbabwe in T20 series.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) had first stopped the player from competing in the league because they wanted to make sure that he is fit and in best condition before the World T20 Championship and inaugural Asia Cup T20 which will be held in Bangladesh.
Mustafizur Rehman was allowed by board to play the league later but then he got injured so now Lahore Qalandar will have to look for an alternate player. There is still a chance that Mustafizur will be picked for the Indian Premier League (IPL) after World T20.
The media co-ordinator of BCB Jalal Younis has confirmed that the youngster will take almost two more weeks to recover and their priority is to have him for the Asia Cup. He said that they will allow other players to go and play the league but they can't send injured player.
Mustafizur Rehman is the first Bangladeshi player to be picked in the International Cricket Council (ICC) One-Day International (ODI) team of the year as he stunned everybody by picking up 6 and 5 wickets in his first two games against India last year.
