The former captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team and the great fast bowler Wasim Akram feels that the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will change the future of the country's players as it will give the youngster a chance to share the dressing rooms with some great players.
Akram is the Director of the Islamabad United Team and he feels that they have a great squad with Misbah-ul-Haq as their captain who is skipper of the Test team of Pakistan and led One-Day International (ODI) and T20 national teams in the past.
Shane Watson will also play for Islamabad as they picked him before anyone and he has been in some terrific form in Big Bash League (BBL) and for Australian national side. Wasim feels that youngsters will learn a lot from Chris Gayle and Shane Watson.
Watson led Australia against India in the T20 game and scored 124 runs, second highest individual score in T20 International. On the other hand Chris Gayle has most centuries and most runs in T20 format as he has played T20 leagues in many countries.
Wasim Akram also asked the Cricket lovers of Sharjah and Dubai to go the grounds in big numbers as they are very important for the success of the league and will have to accept the league as their own. He said that there are initial problems in every league but when it kicks off everything will be fine.
