Waqar Younis says Muhammad Amir can still improve

The coach of the Pakistan Cricket Team Waqar Younis has said that Muhammad Amir is still far away from his best and will improve further when he will play more matches ahead of the World T20 Championship as New Zealand's Martin Guptill praised the bowler.

Guptill had said that Amir caused a lot of problems for them as he was moving the ball. He said that third game was difficult for us Pakistani bowlers tested them even they had a big partnership and went on to win the rain affected match in the last over.

The Pakistani coach thinks that Amir is improving with time as his performance in the  series was not so impressive in the T20 series as he picked up just one wicket in three matches but he got better in the One-Day International (ODI) he got 5 wickets in 2 matches.

Waqar Younis said that they are not expecting big performances from Amir straight away as he has pressure on his shoulders as he made come back to the International Cricket after five years. But he will surely get better with time and will help Pakistan in getting wins.
