The Pakistan A team has levelled the Unofficial One-Day Series against England Lions 2-2 by winning the fourth match at at ICC Academy Stadium in Dubai as their batsmen Asif Zakir and Zohaib Khan had match winning partnership of 116 runs for fifth wicket.
Pakistan A were lucky once again as their captain Fawad Alam won the toss and elected to field first. English openers James Vince and Dawid Malan gave their side a good start and scored 60 runs in 9.3 overs before Vince got run out for 32.
In the same over Bilal Asif got another wicket and got Tom Westley out for a duck. Malan kept scoring runs and got out after scoring 56 runs. After that English batsmen could not do much and their wickets kept tumbling. After them none of them had 50 plus partnership.
Muhammad Nawaz and Bilal Asif got two wickets each but English side were dented by 3 run outs as they got all out for 181 in just 44.3 overs. Pakistani opener Khurram Manzoor, who had scored century in the previous game scored 27 runs off 46 balls.
Pakistan were in trouble as captain Fawad Alam also got out and they were 66/4 but then Zohaib Khan and Asif Zakir got together and stayed on the crease till the end. Zohaib scored 42 off 62 balls whereas Asif scored 68 off 93 as Pakistan reached the target with 21 balls to spare.
