The explosive T20 batsman of the West Indian Cricket Team Chris Gayle will also feature in the England's Natwest T20 tournament as he has been playing T20 leagues in different countries and has earned the reputation of one of the best T20 plauers of the world.
Gayle had faced a controversy while playing Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia and the Australians had banned him for future competitions after he flirted with a TV reporter, praised her eyes and asked her if she would go out with him for a drink.
But the English team Somerset had no problem in signing the player who has most T20 centuries in domestic T20 competitions of Australia, England, India, Bangladesh and West Indies. Gayle also scored the fifty in the T20 in his last game in Australia.
Matthew Maynard, Somerset's director of cricket, said that they are lucky to have Gayle as he is one of the best T20 players and is a crowd entertainer so the people of England will surely love to see him in action and will be interested to watch him hit shots.
