The right-handed batsman of the New Zealand Cricket Team Kane Williamson has decided to join the English county team Yorkshire in this Summer for one and a half month in June and July, which has made the team's head Jason Gillespie delighted.
Williamson is the only player in the world who is in top 10 of Tests, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 ICC Rankings. He has recently been appointed as captain of New Zealand's ODI and T20 side and could soon become the Test team captain as well.
Former Australian fast bowler, Gillespie said Williamson is among the best batsmen in the world and it would be great to have him back, Williamson also played for Yorkshire in the 2013 and 2014 season as well, but at that time he was not at this level.
Williamson scored 2692 runs in the International matches of 2015 year and was the highest run getter in all formats combined. Gillespie said that his work ethic, leadership and attitude as International player are brilliant as he loves to play the game and contributes.
