India have announced the 15-men squad for the World T20 Championship 2016 as Mohammad Shami and Pawan Negi are the surprise inclusions whereas Bhuvneshwar Kumar has not been included to make place for Shami who is returning for the first time since 2015 World Cup.
The chairman of selection committee Sandeep Patil has said that Shami is not 100% fit at the moment but one month will be enough for his recovery whereas India will play their opening match of the tournament after around 40 days against New Zealand.
