The captain of the Indian Cricket Team Mahendra Singh Dhoni has said that their bowlers made difference in the T20 series as their batsmen had also done very well in the One-Day International (ODI) series but Jasprit Bumrah was a great addition to the T20 team.
The Indian side had lost the ODI series 4-1 but won the T20 series 3-0 as they became the first ever team in the 139 years history to go to Australia and whitewash in any format of the game. He said that Bumrah bowled magnificently in all three games.
Dhoni said that he is always worried about the bowling line-up as they are inconsistent and are often the reason behind their losses but for the first time their bowling line-up is looking settled. He said that they are not looking to make many changes in bowling line-up now.
The Indian team is ranked No.1 in the T20 format now and could become the first ever team to win the World T20 Championship at their home. Dhoni said that they gave chances to the players who were doing well in the domestic matches because this was the time to experiment.
Dhoni's decision of sending Yuvraj Singh before him also worked in the third game as the left-handed batsman had not got a chance to show case his batting performance in first two games but he hit a six and four under pressure in the last over to seal the win for his side.
