Virat Kohli, the Indian Cricket Team player who was named man of the series for scoring 3 fifties in the T20 series has said that they wanted to finish the tour at 4-4 after the last game of the One-Day International (ODI) series and they were able to do it.
India's tour had got off to a disastrous start as they lost first 4 games in ODI series. They were close to getting whitewashed but they fought back in the last ODI game and won it in the last over as they chased 330 runs target to finally get first win of the tour.
The Indians never looked back after that and won the first T20 game to take the lead and won the series by winning the second game. Although some of Australian players flew to New Zealand and they had to make changes but Shane Watson scored century to take his side to a big total in last T20.
Kohli stood up once again and completed the hat-trick of his fifties to play an important role in the chase as India won the series 3-0. He said that he was disappointed that he was not able to finish off the game but Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh also did it in style.
Rohit Sharma also scored a fifty and Kohli was asked about him too. Kohli said that he has always been an admirer of the player and he played an important part in the win once again and hit few very big shots which went miles away into the stands.
