The captain of the Indian Cricket Team Mahendra Singh Dhoni has welcomed the all-rounders in the team as he said that it would be great to have more bowling options in the playing 11 because they can used when the specialist bowlers is going for too many runs.
Yuvraj Singh was back in the side after almost 2 years as he played first game since the final of 2014 World T20 Championship. Yuvraj could not get a chance to bat but he bowled 1 over. Dhoni has also used Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja regularly.
Ajinkya Rahane played very well in the One-Day International (ODI) series but he missed the first T20 game due to injury. Dhoni was asked if he would like to have Rahane back in the side or he would like to stick with an all-rounder in the next game as well.
Dhoni said that they will see it when he is fit and back but it is always great to have more bowling options. The Indian captain had made Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma bowl in the past as well which shows how much he likes to have different options.
The dashing batsman Virat Kohli was also praised by the captain as he joked that very soon there will be a stand named after him. He said that by the end of his career there would not be many grounds in the world which would not have his stand.
