England Cricket Team has surprised the hosts South Africa once again and defeated them by 5 wickets to go 2-0 up in the series as Alex Hales missed the century by just 1 run whereas Jos Buttler played another superb knock of 48 off 28 balls to guide his team to victory.
The South Africans were stopped by rain in the first game when they were going after 400 runs target but this time there was no rain but still England were able to beat them. The luck was also in South Africa's favour as their captain Ab De Villiers won the toss and batted first.
The hosts lost their first wicket early as Hashim Amla was dismissed after scoring just 4 runs. Quinton De Kock and Faf Du Plessis built a partnership of 49 runs before the centurion of first game got out after scoring 22 runs. Ben Stokes got him leg before wicket.
Du Plessis scored 46 and then Ab De Villiers and JP Duminy had 107 runs partnership for the fourth wicket to put their side in a strong position. They were around 200 in 40 overs and it looked like they would be around 300 but they lost few quick wickets and finished at 262/7 in 50 overs.
England lost Jason Roy in the third over but that was followed by a 97 runs partnership between Joe Root and Alex Hales. Hales scored 99 whereas Root and Morgan scored 38 and 29 respectively. England were in trouble when they lost few quick wickets and were 202/5 but Buttler and Moeen Ali had 61 runs partnership and took their side over the line with 22 balls to spare.
