The Spinner of the Pakistan Cricket Team Yasir Shah has been banned for 3 months as he was tested positive for taking the prohibited drug so the player will miss the World T20 Championship and Asia Cup T20 and will be back for the Test Series against England.
The spinner has been one of the best products of Pakistan team in last few years and went on to become the fastest player from his country to take 50 wickets in Test matches. He is more preferred in Test matches and Pakistan will play any Test match in this period.
His months ban had started when he was suspended on 27 December so his ban will end on 27 March 2016. The next series of Pakistan will be played in England in July so he can easily preapre for the series and will be available for the selection for the tour.
Yasir Shah had said that he had taken the drug because he had blood pressure problem. He had not consulted with the team doctor before taking his wife's pill which was the reason chlortalidone was found in his blood but WADA does not allow that drug to be taken by athletes.
The spinner has got 76 wickets in 12 Test matches and he can still break the fastest 100 wickets record in the history of the game. He needs to take 24 wickets in next 3 test matches which Pakistan will play in England, but he has a long way to go and will have to make sure he keeps himself always from controversies.
