The Australian Cricket Team fast bowler Josh Hazlewood is set to lead the pace attack against New Zealand in the 2-match Test Series as he believes that he knows the conditions very well now after playing the One-Day International (ODI) against their batsmen.
Hazlewood has been part of the team consistently and has played 15 Test matches in last months in which he has picked up 61 wickets. He picked up 8 wickets in 3 matches of last series against West Indies and 16 wickets in 4 matches of the Ashes series.
Against New Zealand, the 25-year-old bowler did an amazing job in the third test few months back when he got 9 wickets in the match and helped his side win the series. Hazlewood also took 7 wickets in 3 ODI matches against New Zealand in recently concluded series.
The bowler admitted that the New Zealand pitches help the bowlers so the bowler must put the ball in the right areas instead of trying too much. He said that he had wrong approach in the Ashes series against England as he over tried but it was about having right line and length.
Hazlewood will be without his partner Mitchell Starc who took 13 wickets in the previous series against New Zealand. He will have veteran Peter Siddle with him and few inexperienced bowlers Chadd Sayers and Jackson Bird against the strong New Zealand line-up.
