The all-rounder of the Australian Cricket Team James Faulkner has joined the injury list in New Zealand, which is another blow to the team after injuries of Mitchell Starc and Aaron Finch which means that he will need a recovery period and will go back to Australia now.
Faulker will be very important for Australia in their World T20 Championship campaign as he can be used as a fast bowler and can also do very well with the bat, especially his batting record is brilliant in India where he has scored a century in One-Day International (ODI).
Another all-rounder Marcus Stonois has been named as the replacement as Faulkner will return. Australian team's sports science manager Alex Kountouris confirmed that bowler was having a little problem while bowling and his problem increase while batting.
Kountouris said that it is a very short series in New Zealand so there is no point of keeping him with the team so he will go back and work on his fitness as their target is to have him fit as quickly as possible so that he can go with the team in the World T20.
Australia were beaten in the first game against New Zealand and loss in another game will mean that the series would be gone, so they will have to bring a change in the 11 and make sure that it works for them. Next match will be played after two days rest.
