The captain of the Australian T20 team Aaron Finch will replace Sri Lankan legend Kumar Sangakkara for Surrey in England as the left-handed batsman will play Caribbean Premier League (CPL) in West Indies which will give Finch a chance to get some Cricket.
Finch is injured at the moment but he is expected to be fit again within a month and will lead his national team in the World T20 Championship. He said that he is happy to return to England and play Championship as he has also played for Yorkshire in the past.
The Australian batsman also said that he has a desire to represent Australia in the Test Cricket so he will get some valuable experience here which will help him in Test Cricket bid. He said that Surrey has an excellent squad so he would like to contribute too.
The former wicket-keeper/batsman and captain of the England team Alec Stewart in the director of Surrey Cricket team and he said that Finch will be a great addition to their team. Stewart said that Finch is an excellent player of white ball cricket and they will use him in all formats.
Finch has done well for Australia in T20 and One-Day International (ODI) Cricket in last few seasons and he can also get some useful experience of English conditions because his national side will go to England for the Ashes series in future and will seek revenge.
